Name of Artist:
63 Juggler Meadow Road
I have been making pots for over thirty years, having trained and studied ceramics in Dublin, Ireland before moving to the USA in 1982. Starting with one of a kind pieces exclusively, I then almost entirely concentrated on making and selling production dinnerware through the American Craft Council shows in Baltimore, Atlanta, Columbus Ohio and on and on. Within the last two years I have moved back to making individual pieces and the photos shown on this website are representative of my recent work. My influences range from the earliest American Indian pots to contemporary Japanese ceramics, the sculpture and ceramic work of Noguchi to the paintings of Mark Rothko and Brice Marden and anything else that moves or inspires me. My work can be seen at my studio where visitors are always welcome by appointment or at my studio/store Mugi.
