I've been a freelance writer for the West County News, Shelburne, since January 2005. My primary interest is writing about the arts and feature artists, whether visual, performance, or music in west Franklin County. My column appears regularly in the West County News. I have covered many Hilltown Folk Concerts; the West County Players; Double Edge Theatre productions; the Visual Healing Arts Sanctuary; the Green Emporium Cafe gallery, and Winfisky Glass, to name a few. It doesn't take an artist to write about an artist, but it does take an appreciation of art.
